Through her efforts, she aims to create a brighter future for those with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard in the halls of Congress.

IDEA Full Funding Act

•The IDEA Full Funding Act creates a 10-year glide path to fully fund IDEA’s Part B (ages 5-21).

Respond, Innovate, Succeed, and Empower (RISE) Act  

•RISE ensures all students with disabilities can use their IEP/504 Plan from high school to demonstrate their disability and access needed accommodations in college. 

Keeping All Students Safe (KASSA) Act  

•KASSA would prohibit seclusion, chemical, prone, supine restraint, prevent/reduce use of physical restraint, and provide funds to train school teams.
